Each year under the frigid October sky, the streets of downtown Chillicothe are manifested by ghosts, goblins, zombies,
and many other creepy creatures as they march in the annual Chillicothe Halloween parade. Join the Chillicothe Jaycees
and Evening Lions club as they host this spectacular FRIGHT-filled festivity. However, be very cautious, as the restless
spirits will be relentless to sink their teeth into your neck. Come celebrate with us by wearing your Halloween costumes
downtown. Join us before the parade to see the winners of the float and costume judging contests.

Parade Float & Costume Judging
Float judging as well as the Halloween costume judging will be conducted by selected members of the Chillicothe Jaycees and Evening Lions club.
The parade floats will be judged in one of the categories listed
below. Good luck to everybody and may the best float win!
- Community Service - Youth
- Community Service - Adult
- Religious
- Commercial
- Festival
- Sports Team - Youth
Entry forms for the Halloween costume contest is not necessary - just be present for judging. Children under 12 must be
accompanied by an adult. One Grand Prize of $50 will be awarded. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place ribbons will be awarded to the top three
costumes in each age division:
- 12 and under
- 13-18
- Adult
